Creative Shed

When tinkering in the shed and inspiration strikes, I often come up with 'Makes from the Shed', a range of sculptures and objects for the house, garden or shed.

The Anchor

I made a tribute to my late father-in-law. He was a brilliant metalworker and welder and had accumulated many old and pretty ancient welding torches and nozzles. He also loved sailing. I soldered various torch and nozzle elements to form an anchor. I hope he was pleased.

Tea Towel Hook

We needed a little fixture to hang a tea towel in the kitchen and rather than buy one I made one. Nice and square as opposed to a towel rail we bought! Made from solid brass, soldered, drilled and polished.
There is something very satisfying making something exactly how you’d like it.
